T
rawscoed Mawr is a traditional Welsh Farmstead dating back to the 17th century set amongst rolling hillside country just off the old A5 coaching route from London to Ireland which has been built in the traditional way from local stone with many original beams still in situ. Ask to see the bible which includes entries by previous owners going back to 1710. Trawscoed Mawr is rich in both wildflowers, native trees and wildlife. Many species of birds can be seen including Buzzards, Kestrels, Red Kites, Curlews and also lots of smaller birds Nuthatch, Gold Finch, Woodpecker, Red Start etc. Visiting at any time of the year is a pleasurable experience.
