Nestling on the hillside a few miles from the towns of Corwen & Bala, Trawscoed Mawr offers comfortable holiday accommodation with the olde-world charm of a traditional stone-built cottage.

The bustling market town of Bala is within 7 miles and provides a wide range of small shops selling good quality and often locally sourced produce.

However, Bala's finest treasure must be the magnificent Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid) and watersport facilities and the surrounding spectacle of the Snowdonia Mountains.

Trawscoed Mawr is situated in a beautiful valley location in North Wales. You can find us 15 minutes from Corwen & Bala, 30 mins from Ruthin, Llangollen & Betws-y-Coed & 50 mins from the coast.

We are also only 3.5 miles from 'Ewe-phoria', voted one of the UK's Top 50 attractions & 'Adventure Mountain', which is one of North Wales newest and exciting attractions. Good walks are available locally.

There is a local pub, 'The Goat Hotel' approximately 1.5 miles from us but be prepared & bring torches as when its dark, its VERY dark.
